Windows 11: turn off Smart App Control
Smart App Control may block the Feather .exe. There is often no Allow button. Follow the steps below.
1. Open App & browser control
Open Windows Security → click App & browser control in the left menu.
2. Open Smart App Control settings
On that page, click Smart App Control settings.
3. Set it to Off, then restart
Select Off. Restart your PC (required). Then run the Feather installer. You can turn Smart App Control On again afterwards.
